Precision Gas Mixture

Calibration gas your detector can trust.

VGAS blends span and calibration gases gravimetrically, fills them into disposable aluminium cylinders and ships them with a traceable certificate of analysis — so every bump test and every calibration starts from a known value.

21 components, blended to your concentration

Concentrations shown are our standard stock points. Any concentration within the sensor range can be blended to order.

Toxic Combustible Oxygen Inert / zero
Cylinder sizes

Three disposable cylinder sizes

Seamless aluminium alloy 6061A, brushed and clear-lacquered, with a 5/8"-18 UNF (C10) valve inlet to ISO 11118. Every cylinder is labelled with its component list, batch number, fill pressure and valid-until date.

VGAS 34 litre calibration gas cylinder

34 L

0.495 L water capacity. The workhorse size for portable 4-gas detectors.

VGAS 60 litre calibration gas cylinder

60 L

Longer service interval for a busy calibration bench or a shared cylinder.

VGAS 112 litre calibration gas cylinder

112 L

1.8 L water capacity. Fixed-system calibration and docking-station duty.

Valve inlet 5/8"-18 UNF (C10) as standard. Fill pressure 500 or 1000 psi (25 – 70 bar) depending on the mixture.

Why VGAS

Built around one number: the one on your certificate

Gravimetric blending

Components are weighed, not estimated. Blend tolerance is ±3 % of the stated concentration.

Traceable certificate

Every cylinder carries a batch number, fill date and expiry date printed on the label, matched to its certificate of analysis.

ADR-ready transport

Disposable cylinders are classified, labelled and packed for road transport, including UN 1954 / UN 1956 flammable and non-flammable mixtures.

Detector-agnostic

Mixtures are specified by gas and concentration, so they work with any brand of portable or fixed detector.

How it works

From your sensor list to a filled cylinder

Tell us the sensors

Send the gas types and target concentrations, or the part number you use today.

We confirm the blend

We check chemical compatibility, cylinder material and realistic shelf life, then quote.

Filling and analysis

The mixture is blended gravimetrically, analysed against a reference and labelled.

Shipped with documents

Certificate of analysis and safety data sheet travel with the shipment.

Where it is used

Wherever a gas reading has to be right

Maritime & offshore

Oil, gas & petrochemical

Confined space entry

Fire & rescue services

Water & waste treatment

Laboratories & QC

Need a mixture that is not on the list?

Send us the sensor configuration and we will quote a custom blend, cylinder size and regulator as one package.
