A cylinder is only as accurate as the way the gas reaches the sensor. VGAS cylinders are supplied with SGI regulators — the gauge on the regulator doubles as a contents gauge for the cylinder.
SGI demand-flow regulator
Opens only when the instrument pump draws gas, matching the flow the instrument needs (roughly 0.2 – 4 LPM). The right choice for pumped and aspirated detectors, and it wastes nothing between measurements.
Body material by gas type
Nickel-plated brass for non-reactive mixtures, stainless steel for reactive gases such as Cl₂, HCl, NH₃ and HCN. A brass regulator on a reactive gas costs you concentration before the gas ever reaches the sensor.

Reactive gases such as Cl₂, HCl, NH₃ and NO₂ need a stainless-steel regulator and PTFE tubing. Ask us before reusing a brass regulator on those mixtures.
